Abstract
This Telework Manual for Public Organizations in Chile provides guidance and management tools to accompany the development of telework for organizations and officials, so that they can adapt to this work modality, considering the gradual implementation, regulation, and the aforementioned challenges. , among others, and seeks to provide a flexible framework, with practical and feasible guidelines and recommendations to support their telework program in the different stages of development to the public managers of the central government. This document is based on the telework experiences of Chilean public institutions, by reviewing secondary information and conducting interviews with service directors, heads of people management and their civil servants' associations, in addition to being based on 20 national and international manuals that address the design and implementation of telework programs
